Reflection 2

The topic of our webinar is "Personality Development and Filling Out Government Forms" is the title of the Work Immersion Webinar. I learned about the importance of personality and the 3V's of personal branding. The first is a visual, the second is a verb, and the third is a voyage. They provide resume writing tips and suggestions on how to get your resume noticed. Use formal images, and the font text should be readable. Use terms like developed, created, and implemented that are forceful and action-oriented. Instead of a resume summary statement, the purpose of a resume includes a profile statement. Always double-check your language, sentence structure, formatting, punctuation, spelling, and capitalization on your resume. The resume objective vs. Resume summary statement and or instead include a profile statement. Always proofreed your resume carefully your grammar, sentence structure, formatting, punctuation, spelling, and capitalization. They also discuss the general rules of what to wear to an interview. Dress for the job you want, not the job you have. Plan ahead and avoid deciding what to wear on the day of the interview. Stick to neutral colors, in as much as possible. Dress according to your body type. Stay away from using to much jewerly, make-up, perfume, and cologne. Always do a wardrobe check. Do not forget a proper hygiene. The additional tip are preffer suspender with suits, wear bowties no neckties, wear pleated trousers, and baggy pants.

They also talk about "the five Es: the attitudes that will get you forward in the workplace," the first factor of which is being on time. You can give yourself enough time to do activities at a comfortable pace if you arrive early. This can also provide you with additional time to deal with unforeseen circumstances such as traffic, which can make arriving to work difficult. Allowing oneself more time to avoid feeling pressured will help you relax. Second, factor being passionate will make you more productive and self-assured. People will see you favourably, and you will feel more at ease at the end of each day. The third factor is effectiveness. Working smarter rather than harder is the key to success. You can create more with the same quantity of input or even less if you boost efficiency. The fourth factor is that good employees are highly appreciated because they accept responsibility for their actions, are dependable, arrive on time, do what they say, and do not disappoint the rest of their team. The fifth factor is simple: ensure that your coworkers understand the context of your request, why it's important, and how important they are to the task's success. If you work on a project, they will work with you rather than against you.

They talked about how to communicate effectively. When doing a job interview, communication is critical. It raises the standard of your resume. Based on the candidate's communication skills, the interviewer can gain a feel of the candidate's personality, attitude, and manners. Greet the interviewer with a firm handshake. Maintain regular eye contact to show sincerity and strengthen bonds. It is important to communicate positive face expressions and speech features. Excitement and attention are demonstrated by good posture and genuine smiles. We have a better grasp of people and situations when we communicate effectively. I also learned that filling out government forms is important. The topic that we learned is beneficial to me and I can use this when I apply for the job in the future.
